Asahi Songwon Colors Limited reported a 30 per cent rise in its net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2011 at Rs 5.60 crore as against Rs 4.30 crore for the same period in the previous year.
City-based pigments maker, Asahi Sangwon Colours Limited (ASCL) has registered 40 per cent growth in the net profits for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011 to Rs 6.51 crore from Rs 4.66 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Gokul Jaykrishna, joint managing director of the company said that the gross profit for the FY 2009-10 (PBDIT) amounted to Rs 15.42 crore compared to Rs 9.86 crore for the FY 2008-09, a rise by 56 per cent.
